Zest Infotech signed contract with unboundtech for some of their software development needs which includes highly scalable backend systems to interface with various social networking sites such as Myspace, Facebook etc.

Remotely detecting application crash at customer site

Zest Infotech is developing Web based pingalive system to detect remotely if the application daemons deployed at customer site worldwide are stopped functioning for whatever reason. Once detected the system will notify concern person via email or text message.

The system is developed generic enough to work with any existing applications by doing API level integrtion.

 

Custom anti-spam software for Yahoo Webmail

Zest enters the backup World!

Zest Infotech got its first project in backup technology- Online backup.

Zest Infotech working with Florida based startup Safedatach to develop SaS (Software as Service) solution for Online Backup of windows and linux desktop on remote secure servers.

With tape storage being a slow way to take backups, disk backups are becoming more popular. Also, everything is web based and online now. Online backup is currently asked by the customers.

The online backup developed by Zest has a fast, sleek Java based explorer , you can simply click the folders to take backup of. Scheduling, frequency of backups and restore is supported.The folders backed up are encrypted and compressed for over the wire transfer. Features like authentication and authorization are in place.

Wavefront - Real time processing of CCD images

Zest Infotech working with PhD students from Pune University to develop real time processing and analysis of 3D images captured using CCD camera.

The entire system is planned to capture high resolution photos of Sun and other planets. Using zest’s modules, compartive study of changes can be done and recorded for further analysis.

The research paper where zest co-authroed will be presented in internation conference for Optics in Seatttle, USA.

Zest Infotech got its first project in less than 3 weeks of its launch!

Zest Infotech has entered into contract to work with Adminpal Inc USA to develop UNIX Version of their PC Inventory software to discovery all hardware and software on various UNIX platforms such as Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris, HPUX and MacOS. Thanks Rob and Phil!
